If anyone knows me, they know I love to get my hair done, and I won't let just anyone touch it. Garren in New York, superb! (just a little sampling of some of the women he's laid his hands on...oh hey, Liya Kebede! we laid poolside together at the Chiragan Palace in Istanbul this summer!)

Manabu @ Garren  gave me the most impeccable cut I could ever dream of... but my heart belongs with Ali @ Neil George in Beverly Hills. More laid back atmosphere, and her cuts give you so much flounce, movement... and beach hair 24/7. Sexy, perfect, beach hair that is.

Living in four different time zones than your best friends is not always easy. Caro left for hawaii. Kendall is staying three hours ahead. I leave wednesday, advancing six hours. And Sarah is off to Australia in a month, throwing her back ahead of Caro. SAT throwbackk: who gets all the late night drunk calls after they are fast asleep?!!

(I met her in the bathroom at Angelina's chocolaterie in Paris when i was 12  ...I have a pic with her that maybe one day i'll have the balls to post, when I get over how akward I look next to this gorgeous supermodel. Funny thing, I ran into her again a couple years ago at the cross section of Marc Jacobs in Greenwich Village. Definitely made my day!)
